Purpose

Allows set up of details about the organisation running Argos software to allow licencing of modules.

Description
Organisation Number
Enter the Organisation Number

May be the IRD Number, Business Number etc
Organisation Logo
A link may be provided to the Organisation Logo

When Argos Vault is launched, that logo will display in preference to the Argos logo
Web Process Login[F2] to  a staff member to allow auto login to the web processing (not used for Bailment)

Normally a generic web user login will be set up for this purpose

Check Bank Accounts
If checked on the system will check the validity of bank accounts loaded using the bank's cheque digit verify routine

Must be checked off for bank accounts other than NZ
Check IRD Number
If check on the system will check the validity of IRD numbers loaded using the IRD's check digit verify routing

Must be checked off for numbers other than NZ
Use Windows Passwords for Staff

If checked on, at the login dialog, the login will default to the user’s Windows login and expect their Windows password to be entered

Otherwise the staff code and password form the staff table will be required to login
Windows Password cannot be longer than 17 characters and cannot include a + symbol

Authorise new functionality by default
During an upgrade new functionality is automatically authorised if this flag is checked on (recommended setting)
Temp Record Expiry
Automatically set to 6

May be increased if there are processing issues as advised by Argos support
Currency Decimals
Display field - number of digits after the decimal place for currency values
Quantity Decimals
Display field - number of digits after the decimal place for quantity values
Rate Decimals
Display field - number of digits after the decimal place for rate values (e.g. Interest Rates)
Licence Expiry Date
Date the licence for this Organisation will expire on

Details Specific Function Buttons

Licence Renewal dialog will display.

This allows the modification of a licence request to be sent to Argos for re-licencing

Allows the new licence file to be uploaded into Vault

Windows Authentication

This allows users to log in automatically with their Windows account authentication, rather than a password stored in Vault. This mechanism supports local Windows authentication or Windows authentication done by a Domain Controller.

When the Use Windows Passwords for Staff control flag enabled, Vault compares the Windows logged in user with the Staff Code usernames in the database.  If they match Vault will use that staff entities permissions, and Vault will not require a password when starting. When turning this one, you may need to change the staff codes [usernames] to match the ones stored in your Windows authentication; once these match, all existing groups and permissions will be adhered to.

Note, the following are not supported at this stage: Azure EntraID directories, Active directory, LDAP, etc.
