External User Details

Purpose

To allow the setup of an external user that may be associated with a Distributor, Bailment Dealer, Dealer Sales or Stock Auditor so that authorised party can access their information from the Bailment web site.

Multiple users may be selected, but an external user id may only be used once.

Two Factor Authentication may be turned off on the external user.

Detail Specific Fields

Field
Explanation
Logon Code
Specify a unique logon code
Name
Long name to identify the logon user
API User
Only applicable for Distributor users

Checking this flag on will prevent password expiry for the Distributor APIs
Allow Web Transfer
Check on if this dealer access id allowed to process dealer transfers between amalgamated clients on the web

The web process user does not allow the selection of new FFP and DIF dates or invoices, but otherwise functions the same as the bailment desktop process
New Password
Enter the password for this login

Passwords must be between 8-64 characters, contain no spaces and contain both letters and numbers
Confirm New Password
Enter the above password a second time to confirm
Two Factor Authentication

Exempt
If 2FA is turned off this will display as off, if 2FA is turned on this will display as on

If the user to to be exempt from 2FA check the exempt check box

Explanation

This resets the external user id where they have been locked out of the website due to inactivity  or incorrect password entries

Enter a temporary password for the user and advise them of the password

Passwords must be between 8-64 characters, contain no spaces and contain both letters and numbers
