Managing Account Transactions

Purpose

Account Transactions cannot be deleted. Any Transaction that needs to be corrected can be managed through the Account Transaction Browse
function [buttons].

Access

  1. From within an Account Details dialog | 

Timing

Transactions can be managed at any time

There may be interest calculation implications if the ,  or  functions are used, especially if Transactions are backdated

Function Buttons

Explanation
Allows a transaction to be manually added to the account

Allows the reference and/or description of a Transaction to be changed
Reverses the Transaction (rules apply)
Allows a selected cash Transaction to be transferred to another account within the same module (rules apply)
Allows a transfer of an amount to another account (rules apply)

Prints the list of Transactions in the browse

Groups the selected Transactions if they balance to 0.00

Ungroups the selected Transactions

Lending Accounts Only

Create Payable Invoices for the account

Dealer And Insurer Accounts Only

Hold and Un-hold amounts from Payout


Dealer And Insurer Accounts Only

This function allows part or all of a transaction that is due to be paid to be put on hold.  This will usually happen if there is a dispute over the transaction amount to be paid.
