Lease Dealer Profile Details

Purpose

A Dealer Profile must be associated with each Lease Account

The setup of the Profile will determine which lease cost items will post to an associated Dealer Account. Separate Dealer Profiles will need to be setup for Operating Leases and Finance Leases

2. [F2] on the Dealer Profiles dialog on the Lease Details screen

Option One

Asset is purchased from the  process

The completed Dealer Profile screen will look similar to:

Details Specific Fields

Field	Explanation
Code	Enter a meaningful code for this Dealer Profile
Description	Enter a description for this Dealer Profile
Dealer Trans Type for Xtra Comm	[F2] to highlight and  the Transaction Type that will be used to Post Dealer Commission from the Lease Account to the associated Dealer Account when the Lease Account is ed The amount posted will be the value in the Dealer Comm Payout field on the lease details dialog
Right Hand Side Cost Items	All of these items should be blank in the Amt Column and all of the PcnSta should be 0.00 The posting of the asset value to the Dealer Account is undertaken by the  process An exception to this is if there are any dealer fees to be paid to the dealer In this case, that item will have a PcnSta value of 100.00 Note: The Transaction Type selected MUST have a GL code that posts the Transaction to the Lease/Dealer Transfer Account.

Option Two

Asset is not purchased from the  process

Right Hand Side Cost Items	Any item that forms part of the payout to the dealer will have 100.00 as its PcnSta value Each component of the lease payout must be set up in this way That will normally include the Asset Cost, Deposit and Trade In Note: The Payout transactions MUST have a transaction type with a  GL code that posts to the Lease/Dealer Transfer Account.

Right Hand Side Cost Items	Any item that forms part of the payout to the dealer will have 100.00 as its PcnSta value If there is a fee to be paid to the dealer, this may be achieved by a PcnSta for 100% or, as in the example above, having an amount payable to the dealer Note: The Payout transactions MUST have a transaction type with a  GL code that posts to the Lease/Dealer Transfer Account.
