Dealer Account Details

Purpose

Dealer Accounts are just a specialised sundry creditor account that records amounts that are to be paid out to third parties as a result of system processes.  These processes include paying out loan funds, dealer commission or brokerage.

The Dealer Account is a mandatory field on all accounts, but transactions are only posted to the dealer when:
  1. Lending accounts have dealer profile associated which has been set up to post some loan components, or have a subsidised interest component
  2. Deposit or Unit Fund brokerage is being paid
  3. Commission payments are made to dealers as a result of parameters set up on Call and Variable Loan accounts
  4. Lease Asset  process

Timing

Dealer Accounts may be viewed or set up at any time

Access

  1. Dealers | Access Dealer Accounts
  2. [F2] in the Account lookup field
  3.  from the main dialog

Commission Matrix
Usually blank, if required - [F2] to select the Commission Matrix
Head Office
If required – [F2] to select the head office
Exclude from Dealer Payouts
Check this flag on if dealer should not be included when dealer payout process is run
The below fields are applicable only to the Lease module, and will only be displayed if the Allow Dealer Lease Direct Debits control flag is checked on
Lease DD Path
[F2] to map to the location on your computer where the  Dealers Direct Debit export file will be saved
Lease DD Bank Account
[F2] and select the Cashbook Bank account this DD batch should be created for
Lease Invoice DD Bank Account
[F2] and select the Cashbook Bank account this DD batch should be created for
