Create Client Contact Points

Purpose

To create a Client Contact Point for any new clients added to the system

Timing

Create Client Contact Points may be undertaken at any time

Access

Process

The below dialog should be completed:

Field	Explanation
Dispatch Method	Select the dispatch method that you want to create contact points for. Note: Only Email or Fax is available, as communications are set to ‘print’ by default if the client does not have an active contact point.
Sensitivity	Select from General or Confidential
Preferred Address Source	Select whether the address should first be sourced from the clients home contact details or work contact details
Only Use Preferred Address Source	Check this on if only the preferred address source is to be used. E.g. If work addresses should not be used, then ‘home’ would be selected as the preferred address source, and then this option checked. If either address can be used, leave the checkbox blank.
