Trouble Shooting

When the Argos shortcut is double clicked, nothing happens

  1. This indicates that the prerequisites have not been installed. Run the Argos Prerequisite installer

The below error message comes up when accessing the shortcut:


 
  1. This indicates that the database has been incorrectly selected. [Configure] your ODBC DSN connection and ensure that the database selected to connect too is correct.  This message will also display if the Argos database you will have been supplied with has not been restored.

When the shortcut is double clicked, a select data source dialog is presented:

 
  1. The DSN name has not been added to the shortcut properties. 

When the shortcut is double clicked, the below error is displayed:

 
Either:
  1. The ODBC DSN has not been setup
  2. The DSN Name has been added incorrectly to the properties dialog
    1. It may have spaces or is misspelled
    2. The Name specified as the ODBC DSN is not the same as the one specified as the properties DSN
