[Reverse] Account Transaction Details
Purpose
Thus function can be used to reverse some Account Transactions.
To be reversible, the transactions must be created from the Transaction Types that have a input method of 'Reversible Control' or 'Manual Input'.
The most comment use for

is for the reversal of fees charged from dishonored payments, overdue letters or account maintenance fees.
Timing
A transaction can be reversed at any time.
Access

Process
Field | Explanation |
Transaction Type | This will default to the Transaction Type of the original transaction
DO NOT CHANGE |
Description | Defaults to the original transaction description prepended with 'REVERSE' |
| Amount | Display only field
Will display the original transaction amount with the opposite sign |
The original and reversed transaction should then be Grouped.
Errors
If the transaction was not created from a Transaction Type with an input method of Reversible Control or Manual Input, then one of the below error messages will appear:
The Transfer Non Cash function will need to be used to move the transaction to another account
The transaction will need to be reversed in the Cashbook
