Revalue Unit Fund Accounts
Purpose
The value of units of a fund may vary over time. This will result in a loss (decrease in unit
value) or gain (increase in unit value) on the investment by the account
holder.
This process automatically updates the Unit Fund Account and associated Account Type with the new unit value.
Historical rate changes can be viewed through the Unit Fund
Revaluations Browse.

Important Notes:
- The revaluation must be run after all processing for the day has been completed and accounts have their correct balance for the day. This includes the processing of cash, interest and distributions.
- The revaluation must be run on the date the
revaluation is intended to take place on.
The only exception to this is if the Unit Fund System has not had its
month end process run. Then the
revaluation can be run in the new month, but will be effective on the month end
account balances.
