Create & Print Unit Fund Certificates
Purpose
Allow
the creation and printing of a certificate confirming investment details with a
client. Certificates will only be
created if the Unit Fund Account has the flag “Print Certificates” set to Yes.
Annual Certificates can be created by completing the Create by Client and Year Ending options. This process will total the PIE Income and Tax Payable amounts on each account, per client. The Print Certificate flag on each call account must be set to Yes in order for the annual certificates to be created.

Process
This process will be run to create Unit Fund Certificates. This process may also be used to inform fund
holders’ of the details about their new Unit Fund accounts.
Field | Explanation |
Create By Client | Only for Annual Certificates Check this on to create Annual Unit Fund Certificates for all accounts linked to a individual client One certificate will be created for each client regardless of the number of accounts linked to the client |
Year Ending | Only for Annual Certificates Enter the year end date for the Annual Unit Fund Certificates All transactions for the year up to this date will be included in the calculation for the certificate values |
Certificate Communication Type | [F2] to |
Account Type | [F2] to Leave blank for all account types |
Print Option | Certificates can be created and printed immediately, or if a review is required then only created and printed at a later time from the communication browse |
