Common Report Parameters

Selection Criteria

There are a number of common fields that are used over a range of Report Parameters within the system.

Report Criteria

Field
Explanation
Report Order
The report order is a parameter on most reports

It controls the order, grouping and subtotals of the records shown on the report

Currency and Company Report orders are applied automatically

Report orders of Account Code and Client Code do not have subtotals applied

The list of options in a report order will depend on the report being run
Description to Show
Report Parameter

Available Options are:
  1. Client –  Displays the Client Name
  2. Account – Displays the Account Description
  3. Client & Account – Displays both Client Name and Account Description
System Type
Allows a Report to be restricted to all Investment or Lending modules only

Default is All
Show Accrued Interest (to)
Checking this flag will include the Accrued Interest for each account on the report

Checking the flag on will make the Accrued Date field mandatory

Note:
Inclusion of Accrued Interest will usually increase the amount of time the report will take to run
Summary OnlyChecking this flag will provide only the totals at each Report Order break
Page Break
For each change in the selected report order, a new report page will be started.

This enables the report to be split and disbursed to third parties.

Account Statements

Account Statements are printed on a per module basis, but a number of parameters are common over all modules:

Transaction Date Range
This is the statement date range covered

If the Transaction Date spans more than one statement period, a statement for each period will be printed

E.g. If a date range is entered of 01/01/13 -31/03/13  and
  1. the account statements are monthly; 3 statements will be printed
  2. If the statements are produced quarterly, only one statement will be produced
Not Printed Only

Checking this on will produce only statements that have not previously been printed

Once printed, the print date is stored against the statement
Exclude Statements With No Movement
Checking this on will exclude any statement where there has been no transactional movement on the account during the statement period
Include Statements for Closed Accounts
Checking this on will print statements for account(s) that have been closed during the transactional period of the statement 
Use Transaction Type Description
Checking this on will print the Transaction Type Description within the Description field

If this is checked off, then the Account Transaction Description is used
Suppress Print of Instalment Transactions 
Variable Loan

Checking this on will result in the statement only showing the debit of the instalment amount to the current ledger

If checked off, the debit and credit to the future ledger (transfer of instalment to current ledger) will also display

Account Summaries

Account Summaries are printed on a per module basis, but a number of parameters are common over all modules:

Lending Accounts

Only transactions and balances for the current ledger (arrears) 
Both Ledgers

Lending, Dealer and Insurer

The transactions and balances for both ledgers, shown separately
Combined Ledger

Lending Accounts

The transactions and balances for both ledgers, shown as a combined transaction listing and running balance
Show Transaction Type DescriptionShows the Transaction Type Description, instead of the Description entered to the Account Transaction
Hide Transaction Type Summary

At the end of the summary, a list of Transaction Types and the total amount associated with each Transaction Type is listed

Check on this flag to prevent this summary displaying
Show Client Contact DetailsLists the clients phone contact details on the summary
Show Interest Accrued Details

If this flag is checked on, lines that read:

“Plus Interest Accrued on Loan $X.xx,
Plus Default Interest Accrued on Arrears $X.xx,
Balance Including Interest Accrued $X.xx,
Calculations as at DD/MM/YY”

are included following the Transaction Type summary
