Confirming Bailment Interest Calculations (Data Logging)

Purpose

Data Logging allows the user to prove interest calculations.

Timing

This process may be run at any time.

Process

Select Start logging interest calculations from the Data Logging Menu.


In the Save Log As dialog select a location on your desktop and enter a File name.


The following dialog will display in the top left corner of the user monitor.  


To stop data logging click on 

To stop data logging and view the created file click on 

Data logging begins when the user clicks  on a Bailment Account.  

When the user  a Bailment Account the interest details will complete being logged for that Bailment Account.

The data log calculates the interest on a daily basis for the number of days between transactions at the rate applicable for those days.

Interest is calculated and logged separately for each interest “stage” that a Bailment Account goes through:
