Bailment Dealer Details - Financial Data Tab
Purpose
Facilitates the input of Financial Details supplied by a Bailment Dealer.
Ratios are then calculated and evaluated to assist in determining the Credit Limits and Status that will be applied to the Bailment Dealer

Dialog Details

Main Tab | The following dialog will be displayed:
Field | Description | Code | A short unique alpha numeric quick key code for the financial data | Description | The name of the financial data item | Period Ending | Select from the date drop down the date up to which the financial data is valid | | Full Year | Check this tick box if the financial data is for a full year, otherwise leave unchecked | Notes | Enter any notes that may useful for this set of financial data |

Balance Sheet Tab
| Enter Balance Sheet information from the set of financial accounts. Care should be taken to enter financial data against the correct item to ensure ratios are calculated correctly.
All values should be entered as positive unless there is an opposite sign from that expected. For example, if profit and loss appropriation were a loss, that amount would be entered with a leading minus (-). The Sign column will show the normal expected sign of the value.
Values can be entered by clicking into the first value field, entering an amount and then down arrowing to the next field. Continue until the Balance Sheet details have been completed.
A running total of assets and liabilities is maintained in the bottom section of the dialog. To be correct the Total Assets must equal the Total Liabilities plus Total Equity. If this is not correct the difference will be shown in the Checksum field in red as follows:

Profit and Loss Tab
| Enter into this Tab Profit and Loss information from the set of financial accounts. Care should be taken to enter financial data against the correct item to ensure ratios are calculated correctly.
All values should be entered as positive unless there is an opposite sign from that expected. For example, if taxation were a refund, that amount would be entered with a leading minus (-). The Sign column will show the normal expected sign of the value.
Values can be entered by clicking into the first value field, entering an amount and then down arrowing to the next field. Continue until the Profit and Loss details have been completed.
The totals of Gross Profit < Net Profit Before Tax and Net Profit After Tax are displayed in the bottom section of the dialog. These amounts should be compared to the set of financial statements being loaded from to ensure accuracy of input. |
Ratios | This is a display only dialog
It shows immediately after input of the Balance Sheet and Profit and Loss dialogs a number of calculated ratios. These can be reviewed for reasonableness as a further test against the accuracy of data entry.
