Search the Security Registry

Purpose

Allows the PPSR website to be searched from within Vault. The search configuration allows the same search parameters to be entered as the PPSR website.

Note: PPSR Search charges apply, but are half of the price of a manual PPSR search

Timing

PPSR searches may be undertaken at any time

Process

The dialog contains 3 parts:

Search Configuration

Field	Explanation
Secured Party	[F2] to select the Secured Party If only, one secured party exists, then this should be
Search By	This determines the Search Criteria that will need entered for the search to take place Options are: Finance Statement Aircraft Debtor Organisation Debtor person Motor Vehicle The option selected here will determine the Search Criteria options that are displayed
Billing Reference	If required, Enter a billing reference to appear on the monthly statement issued by the PPSR. This allows the PPSR search costs to be coded to different General Ledger codes or on-charged to other departments

Search Criteria

Search by Financing Statement

Searches for the PSPR Financing Statement Number(s) entered

Financing Statement numbers can be entered by using the buttons as detailed below

[Button]	Explanation
	Opens a new dialog [F2] to open the Financing Statement Browse and select a current financing statement
	Opens a new dialog The 16 digit Financing statement number can be entered
	Removes the selected Financing Statement number from the Search Criteria
	Clears all of the Financing Statement number(s) from the Search Criteria

Search by Aircraft

Searches for an Aircraft

Only one of these fields need to be completed

Field	Explanation
Registration Mark	Enter the Aircrafts’ Registration Mark
Manufacturer Serial No	Enter the Aircrafts’ manufacturer serial number

Search by Debtor Organisation

Either the Organisation Name or Company Number must be completed

Field	Explanation
Organisation Name	Enter the name of the organisation
Company Number	Enter the company number of the organisation
City / Town	Enter the company location

Search by Debtor

Field	Explanation
First Name	Enter the first name of the debtor you are searching for
Last Name	Enter the last name of the debtor you are searching
Middle Names      Date of Birth         City / Town	Any of these details for the debtor may be entered to assist in limiting the returned financing statements
Collateral Types	1 or more collateral items may be selected to restrict the returned financing statements Click on the required item to highlight, and click inside the checkbox to select

 Search by Motor Vehicle

Only one of these fields need to be completed

Field	Explanation
Registration Number	Enter the motor vehicle registration number
Chassis Number	Enter the motor vehicle chassis number
VIN Number	Enter the motor vehicle VIN number

Financing Statement Details

Once the required Search Criteria have been entered:

If no Financing Statements are found, an option to print a blank report detailing the search criteria will appear. This can be printed as confirmation that a search was completed.

Any Financing Statement found that matches the search criteria will be listed in the details dialog:

Select the Financing Statement(s) that you wish to view

 to produce a copy of the selected Financing Statements
