Lease Asset Type Details

Purpose

Provides the ability to add or change types of assets that may be depreciated, and set up the depreciation method and rate for each

Timing

Asset Types may be added at any time

Once established the depreciation rate and method may not be changed

Access

  1. Lease  | Edit/View Asset Types
  2. Lease Asset Details dialog within the Asset Details section

Details Specific Fields

Field
Explanation
Tax Depreciation Method
Select the depreciation method that will be used to depreciate the asset this asset type is associated with

Options are:
  1. Diminishing Value
  2. NO Depreciation
Tax Depreciation Rate
Enter the depreciation rate applicable to this Asset Type to two decimal places
