Creating a Lease Early Termination Quote

Purpose

This function is used when a client inquires of the amount required to settle their lease

Access

Process

The dialog that displays will be different depending on the Lease Early Termination method

The enquiry and quote process will be the same for each type of termination

The Rental NPV Early Termination method is used as an example as this is the most complex option

The dialog will look similar to:

The Early Termination Enquiry Dialog is for Enquiries of termination balances and the creation of termination quotes only. A Lease cannot be terminated or a termination reversed from this Dialog. The reason these dialogs split into two separate dialogs is so the security allowing user access can be separated.

The Termination Date is the date the Early Termination Quote is to be produced for.

It is important that a record is kept of the quotation.  Different Early Termination Quote communications will be required for each termination method as the information quoted is different.  Ensure the correct communication is selected.

If the enquiry is in the form of a phone call and a printed document is not needed check the Mark Comm. As Printed field.  This will mark the communication as printed so it will not come up in the list of communications to be printed. 

A communication should always be created against the lease account so there is a record of the quotation provided.

If a written quote is required to be sent, make sure the Mark Comm. As Printed tick box has no tick in it.

  1. Rental NPV
  2. Rental Standard
  3. P&I Standard
  4. P&I
  5. P&I NPV (FL)

Create the Quote Communication

 

The following will display:



Close the Early Termination Details Dialog

Create and Print the Quote Communication

If a copy of the Early Termination Quote is required by the customer, then the  button can be used

This will create the Communication record on the client account and send the Early Termination Quote directly to the default printer
