The  button will display once selected

Once selected the Curtailment Tab header will be updated to state that the Account is Under Arrangement

Used to initially populate the curtailment repayment schedule.  Can be used to create a repayment schedule until the first scheduled repayment date has passed.

The below dialog will be presented for selection of the required Curtailment Schedule  and the day. If the Distributor has a default Curtailment Schedule selected, this field will be prepopulated – this may be changed.

The created repayment schedule will be based on the GST Inclusive asset amount (Curtailment Method = GST) or GST Exclusive asset amount (Curtailment Method = Security Deposit) and the selected curtailment schedule percentage as follows:
  1. Future Ledger balance * percentage repeated for the number of times the percent divides into 100
  2. Any rounding will be posted to the final repayment
  3. The first Repayment Date will be the same as the Curtailment Date
The day parameter will default to the Day for Today.  It should be changed if there is a requirement to force the day created on the Repayment Schedule to be a month end date.

So if the month was February and the day 28, that would be changed to 31 so the month end date was created for all Repayment Schedule items.  The day would remain as 28 if the schedules repayment date were always to be the 28th of the month.

Examples (Security Deposit):
Future Ledger balance = $3856, Curtailment percentage = 10%, Curtailment Date = 10/01/17
  1. Schedule would list 9 repayments of $385.60 with the first payment starting on 10/01/17 and monthly on the same day thereafter
  2. Final Payment would be $385.60 Curtailment Payment + $385.60 GST. Total Payment = $771.20
Future Ledger balance = $3856, Curtailment percentage = 8%, Curtailment Date = 30/01/17, Day left as 30
  1. Schedule would list 11 repayments of $308.48 with the first payment starting on the 30th January, second 28th February, third on 30th March, then 30th April etc
Final payment of $462.72 plus 385.60 GST. Total payment = $848.32

Note
If a price adjustment is processed following the creation of a payment schedule, the value of the price adjustment will automatically be applied to the final curtailment payment in the schedule.
