Alter File Storage Paths

Purpose

Allows bulk change of file path settings held in Vault if servers or networks are changed

Access

  1. Control | Alter File Storage Paths

Process

Note: A Backup should always be taken prior to running this process


A confirmation message will appear

Once complete, the system will close

Old Path Text
Copy and Paste the old file path location here

Note: UNC Pathnames should be used
New Path Text
Copy and Paste the new file path location here

Note: UNC Pathnames should be used
Update Communications
Updates the Communications already created with the new file path
Update Communication Types
Updated the Communication Types with the new file path

Note: This will need to be run separately for CMM Master Files and Copy Communication Storage Paths
Update Electronic Banking Files
Update the Import and Export banking file locations
Update Preset Output Files
Updates the file path specified on preset report file locations
Update Custom Report Files
Updates the file path location where custom report files have been specified
Update Documentation File Path
Updates the file location for the Online help documentation
